Nets edged out Knicks 112-110 with a last-minute free throw by James Johnson while Kevin Durant and James Harden put on a show for the home crowd. Johnson made two free throws with 2.2 seconds left on the clock that handed Nets a win on Tuesday. While Harden went for 34 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists, and Durant supported with  27 points and nine assists.

Knicks had Alec Burks in the starting point guard role and he scored a season-high 25 points with Julius Randle posting a similar score with nine rebounds and eight assists. But in the end, it all came down to the free throws that gave the star-studded roster of Nets an edge over New York Knicks.
