New Orleans Pelicans cruised to a 129-93 victory over the Sacramento Kings

With the victory, New Orleans' season standing has improved to.500. The squad is presently 3-2 during its current six-game home stand. The Pelicans' devastating Saturday night loss to Minnesota left little room for debate as to how this game would turn out. Teammate Zion Williamson scored 26 points on 12/16 from the floor, while Brandon Ingram ended with a game-high 31 points on 11/18 shooting. With a 15–4 lead at the beginning of the first quarter, New Orleans set the tone for the game. Later in the first quarter, Sacramento would go on a 27-10 run to seize the lead. With three seconds remaining in the quarter, Jordan Hawkins made a four-point play to bring the Pels closer.

Herb Jones led the Pelicans with six points in the quarter, while Fox scored nine points. The second quarter of the game delivered precisely what the spectators had been hoping for: a Zion Williamson takeover.
