New York Knicks eye a potential move to secure Rob Dillingham

The New York Knicks find themselves without a high pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, holding only the No. 24 spot via the Dallas Mavericks. However, they eye a potential move to secure a higher selection and target promising guard Rob Dillingham from the Kentucky Wildcats. In a proposed trade by Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report, the Knicks would package their No. 24, No. 25, and No. 38 picks to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for the No. 8 overall pick, potentially allowing them to land Dillingham.

While Dillingham wouldn't immediately supplant Jalen Brunson, who holds a vital role as both lead guard and franchise player for the Knicks, he could offer valuable competition and depth in the backcourt. As a dynamic prospect, Dillingham's addition could bolster the Knicks' roster, providing both immediate support and long-term potential alongside Brunson, enhancing their guard rotation and fortifying their future aspirations.
