Pacers Shorthanded as Walker Misses NBA Finals Games 1 & 2 vs Thunder

However, they were able to make it to the NBA Finals this time, where they will face the Oklahoma City Thunder. However, if the Pacers hope to make it to their first NBA Finals this season, it's now or never. Regretfully, the Pacers will lose their series since they are quite shorthanded.

Indiana forward Jarace Walker will miss Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals, according to Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle. Game 3, which is scheduled for June 11, is the earliest possible comeback date for Walker. He has about a week and a half to recuperate. Walker initially injured his ankle in the Pacers’ Game 6 win over the New York Knicks in the ECF, having to leave the arena on crutches. The 21-year-old backup power forward made 75 regular season appearances for the Pacers this season, averaging 15.8 minutes per game.
