Pelicans beat the Kings 127-117

In the quarterfinal matchup, the Sacramento Kings began with an impressive lead, securing a substantial advantage of up to 15 points in the opening quarter. However, their initial dominance faced a formidable challenge from the New Orleans Pelicans. Despite the Kings effectively having Zion Williamson to a modest 10 points, they struggled to contain Brandon Ingram. The All-Star forward showcased his prowess, concluding the game with an impressive 30 points on a 50 percent shooting efficiency from the field. Ingram also contributed significantly with eight rebounds, six assists, and one steal during his 40 minutes on the court.

The Pelicans' starting lineup exhibited efficient scoring performances. Herbert Jones recorded 23 points with a notable 61.5 percent shooting accuracy, Jonas Valanciunas added 18 points with an impressive 63.6 percent shooting, and CJ McCollum contributed 17 points, shooting at 50 percent. Additionally, Trey Murphy, coming off the bench, made a valuable contribution with 16 points on 46.1 percent shooting.
