Phoenix defeated visiting Utah

In order to make it to the league's inaugural in-season tournament's knockout rounds, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Utah Jazz 131–128. Kevin Durant set the stage for Phoenix to have an incredible game. With less than a minute remaining, Durant clinched the game with a long three. 38 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists were his final stats. Devin Booker, his co-conspirator, had a career-high 15 assists on the evening in addition to 24 points and four rebounds. After battling a number of lower leg problems during the season, he participated in consecutive games for the first time. 

The Suns used the same small-ball lineup that they used to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves last time out, which included Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon, with Bradley Beal out for the next three weeks due to a back ailment.
