The Pacers have lost nine of their last 10 games

Recently, the Indiana Pacers have struggled with sluggish beginnings, but on Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies, they overcame this issue. The Pacers led by nine points in the first quarter after giving up just 23 points. Even though the Pacers have recently had defensive issues, they only allowed 50 points in the first half. On Sunday night, after 24 minutes, it appeared that Indiana had overcome its recent problems and was going to coast to a much-needed victory.

That did not occur. In reality, the exact reverse occurred. With 10 minutes left in the third quarter, the Pacers were leading 68-52. Five minutes later, the score was 70-68. It became a competitive contest after an 18-2 run by the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies had an 80-79 lead after another five minutes of play. The Pacers only managed to score 11 points in a 10-minute period, while Memphis scored 28. The outcome of the game changed entirely.
