Tyus Jones’s career-high 20 points saw Memphis Grizzlies chomp down Kawhi Leonard and Paul George’s team Los Angeles Clippers with 122-94 on Thursday. While Dillon Brooks had 19 points for the team and Jonas Valanciunas and Ja Morant were 16 points each. Clippers were not their lethal self with a slow show by their star players Leonard scored just 17 points and 13 points were contributed each by George and Serge Ibaka with a 3-for-12 shooting night for George.
Grizzlies’ defense was on point and held back Clippers to a 12 of 34 (35.3%) shooting from the 3-point line which is essentially lower than their season average of 42% while Grizzlies on the other hand were shooting above 55% and overthrew Clippers in the third quarter which is their strong suit and was leading by 17 big ones.
