Keyonte George finished with 33 points and nine assists, while John Collins contributed 28 points and 13 rebounds. The injured Jazz (1-6) averaged 99.8 points on 30.1 percent shooting, which put them as the NBA's worst offensive club going into the season. The Jazz shot 53.9% from the field and made 16 of 35 3-pointers, or 45.7% of the total, against Chicago.
Walker Kessler finished with 12 points and 15 rebounds, while Collin Sexton contributed 24 points for Utah. Coby White of Chicago scored 28 points after entering the game in the second half and tied the score twice in the third quarter. However, after falling down by 15 points, the Bulls, who were missing their injured star scorer Zach LaVine, were unable to go ahead.
