Warriors overcame Green’s ejection, builds a 1-0 lead over Grizzlies

Golden State Warriors rallied in the last quarter, Klay Thompson hits a three-pointer with just thirty-six seconds left on the clock as the team was forced to overcome the shocking Draymond Green’s first-half ejection. Warriors managed to edge out Memphis Grizzlies in the end with 117-116 close wins in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals. Stephen Curry later commented that at the core warriors have a championship DNA and wanted to put that to work during the match.

Jordan Poole topped the charts with career-high 31 points off the bench, Curry chipped in with 24 points, while Andrew Wiggins had 17 and Thompson finished the match with 15. Grizzlies had a chance to pull the match in their favor but Morant missed the last-second layup and finished with 34 points and 10 assists.
