Was Patrick Beverley's defensive huddle missed by Russell Westbrook?

Early in the second half of Tuesday night's disheartening 118-113 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Beverley attempted to rally his on-court colleagues to form a huddle. LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Lonnie Walker IV were all persuaded to have a conversation by the experienced player. However, even after Davis made an effort to engage Westbrook in conversation, Westbrook appeared to dismiss the request.

Beverley initially calls his other soldiers together for the huddle. Westbrook, who has not entered the conflict, is requested. As Minnesota foul shots are about to be taken, Davis then moves in the direction of Westbrook, who high-fives Beverley's outstretched hand and then appears to ignore the huddle as he looks straight ahead. On the other hand, Beverley is now in mid-season mode and trying to be a defensive leader on the court, so if a crucial piece isn't present at the moment of attack, it throws off the team's dynamics completely.
