Washington Wizards 116-105 victory over the New York Knicks

Against his previous team, Kristaps Porzingis scored 22 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists, which helped the Wizards get out to a quick start and maintain a lead the whole game. Last Friday's defeat against the Knicks cost Kuzma 40 points, a season-high, along with 13 rebounds and seven assists. Due to the return of Beal, Washington's best scorer who went 7 for 11 after missing time with a strained left hamstring, Kuzma didn't need to score as much this time. Without him, the Wizards were 1-4 and had suffered two straight losses.

Washington jumped off to a 7-0 lead after Beal's opening shot, which swiftly increased to 14-3 and then 19-5. In the early flurry, Porzingis scored eight points while making two 3-pointers. The Knicks, who enjoyed a run of seven victories in eight games before to this week, dropped two consecutive home games to teams ahead of them in the standings.
