The Asia Cup 2022's biggest surprise has been Afghanistan. The Mohammad Nabi-led Afghan team started the campaign with a commanding eight-wicket victory against Sri Lanka, and they continued that momentum into Tuesday night's victory over Shakib al Hasan's Bangladesh. Ajay Jadeja, a former cricketer for India, sent out a warning to both Pakistan and India, saying they should "be wary" of the team Bangladesh in the Super Four after they stunned many with their slick performance at the continental competition.
Jadeja believes that Afghanistan's greatest asset is its bowling, but he also praised the hitters for recognising the situation and playing accordingly. The bowler who has excelled the most thus far has been the Afghan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman. In Afghanistan's first two games, he has already claimed five wickets.
