After 6 months delay bio-secure IPL returns for yet another season

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) ground may not offer many good memories for the Indian Cricket team. But upon prodding our memory we can recall two intense games. The first one is the Match winning six by Javed Miandad off Chetan Sharma during the 1986 Austral-Asia Cup final at Sharjah. And the second one is the stunning performance by Sachin Tendulkar where India seized the 1998 Coca-Cola Cup.

Sheikh Zayed Stadium will add one more chapter as IPL commences after 6 months delay due to pandemic. Even Twenty20 World Cup between Australia and India was also postponed. IPL will feature eight teams, and total of 60 matches with two more venues, Dubai and Sharjah.

Legends like Kane Williamson, Steve Smith, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Mahendra Singh Dhoni will entertain us as temperature pushes 40 degree Celsius, the threat of a virus looms and no spectators allowed.
