Australia beats England to go 2-0 in the Ashes Test

England once again fell short against Australia in the Ashes match and faced a successive defeat on day five at the Adelaide Oval. Australia enjoys a 2-0 lead in the five-match Test series with a 275-run triumph. The host started off the match with a dominant display of 473-9 in the first inning and then bowled out England for 236 when their batting order collapsed soon after Dawid Malan(80) and Joe Root (62) were bowled out. Australia in their second inning added 230 runs more giving England a target of 468 on the final day.

Quickly the starting order collapsed while Jos Buttler did offer some resistance facing 207 balls for his 44 along with Chris Woakes’s 44 from 97 Australia knocked out England to head to the  Boxing Day Test in Melbourne with a 2-0 lead.
