Bangalore claims another big win with Maxwell’s 50

Royal Challengers Bangalore seal another big win in the Indian Premier League with Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell’s unbeaten 50 off 30 balls. Bangalore thus in the end won by seven wickets over Rajasthan Royals. In a powerful display by Maxwell, who hit six and three fours to take Chris Morris for a ride with 50 from four overs.

Chasing a score of 149 Wicketkeeper-batsman Srikar Bharat also hit 44 to complete the chase with 17 balls to spare as well. Rajasthan had a hard time against Bangalore bowlers as Shahbaz Nadeem and Yuzvendra Chahal had a field day with Royals grabbing four wickets amongst them. Harshal Patel extended his tally as the leading wicket-taker in the league with 3-34. With the win, Bangalore is third on the table with 14 points.
