Ben Dunk’s disappointing performance at Melbourne Stars is looming over him as the squad arrives in Hobart ahead of their match. Hobart Hurricanes will take on the Stars on Saturday and the 33-year-old is overwhelmed with his performance so far. He joined Stars in 2017 in a five-year deal which burned a hole in the wallet for Stars but Dunk has struggled ever since putting in an average of just 16.72 with a strike rate of 116.57 averaged in 38 innings.
In Star’s Tuesday night encounter with Sydney Thunder, he fired 21 runs in 9 balls to remind everyone that he might not be a lost cause after all. Dunk has been active this year spending time at Caribbean Premier League and the Pakistan Super League.
