Big Bash League: Thunder climb to the top of the table

Sydney Thunder goes after the second BBL title as they strengthen their claim at the trophy this season by traveling to the top of the table after an excellent effort against Hobart Hurricanes. With players like Usman Khawaja, Callum Ferguson,  Arjun Nair, and Tanveer Sangha this claim this season seems stronger than ever after the sixth win of the season. Sixers are close behind Thunder on the table with just a one-point gap between them.

In another match Stars battled the rain to win over Heat, chasing an adjusted target of 129 run in 10 overs Stars needed 104 from 38 at the end which was made possible by Nicholas Pooran. Glenn Maxwell’s duck was disheartening to watch but later Nick Larkin held his ground to end the night at 35 runs in 16 balls undefeated.
