Chappell feels that Kohli will be up for a fight against the Aussies

Greg Chappell expects India's ace batsman Virat Kohli to shine against Australia in the World Test Championship final at the Oval from June 7–11. After coming close in 2021, India will be aiming to win the World Test Championship, and Kohli will be one of their important players in the contest. In the longest format of the game, the 34-year-old has an outstanding record versus Australia. 

The top hitter has scored 1979 runs at an average of 48.26 in 24 games versus the Australians. When the teams last faced off in Ahmedabad for the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 earlier this year, Kohli recorded his best score of 186 against them. He has made eight hundred versus Australia in Test matches. Following an outstanding IPL 2023 season in which he amassed 639 runs and finished with back-to-back hundreds, Kohli enters the WTC Final on a high note.
