CSK’s woes worsens, Jadeja ruled out of IPL

Chennai Super Kings’s campaign in the Indian Premier League was already off to its worst start. Now Ravindra Jadeja is ruled out of the remaining IPL season. The all-rounder also served as Chennai Super Kings skipper taking over from MS Dhoni for eight matches in 2022 but after a series of underwhelming results Jadeja handed over the reins back to Dhoni. Now the player suffered a rib injury and would not be part of IPL for the rest of the season.

The player missed the clash with Delhi Capitals and now would be out of the lineup for the rest of the three games of the group stage. Jadeja was one of the key players in CSK’s lineup and was one of the first players to be retained by the franchise for the 2022 season.
