England IPL players to miss the New Zealand series

England has announced the Black Caps home series in June but has given certain big test cricket players permission to play in the Indian Premier League instead. So essentially Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, and Jonny Bairstow who have been a regular feature in IPL could choose to play in the Indian league instead of the two-test series with New Zealand which would anyways not be counted for World Test Championship points. For New Zealand, it would be vital before the World Test Championship final in England.

The schedule for Lord's and Edgbaston match has been favoring the England Wales Cricket Board, giving them a chance to qualify and win if they win the final two tests of their current series in India. And the IPL auction would begin soon as well.
