England leads in third Test against India

Hosts are building a good lead over India after a brutal thrashing on Day 1 of Test 3. It is likely they are avenging their Test 2 loss and might be successful in leveling the series this time. On day 1 India was all out at 78 and England had taken over posting 120 for no loss at the end of Day 1 thereafter till Lunchtime on Day 2 England build their lead to 104 instead and had eight wickets in hand still. A resilient India did clinch two wickets taking out their openers Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed.

Burns wicket went to Mohammed Shami for 61 while Hameed was bowled by Ravi Jadeja for 68. Going into Lunch Dawid Malan and Joe Root were working toghether with 27 for Malan and 14 for Root as they hope to level the five-match series 1-1.
