England postponed the ODI series in South Africa

Jos Buttler gives us a picture from inside the England camp. It is crucial to know what happened after the postponement of the one-day international series in South Africa. He explained the nervousness among the team. The anxiety was because many members tested Covid positive inside the biosecure bubble.

As cricketers, it's extremely frustrating. They wanted to focus on playing cricket. And, everyone was very happy about the ODI series. They had played really good cricket in the T20s.  So it's been a matter of shame for everyone involved on both sides.  Especially, all the administrators. It is because of them that they didn't get any cricket.

The news of two positive Covid tests and two staff was really disturbing. There was a lot of anxiety and nervousness around coronavirus. And, cricket became the last thing on people's minds.
