England squad shuffled for test series against India

A series of four test matches between England and India will begin on February 5 with the first two matches in Chennai and the next two in Ahmedabad. The third match will begin on 24 February. For the tests of England against India, Jonny Bairstow, Mark Wood, and Sam Curran have been rested and Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, and Rory Burns are recalled. The latter three have been rested for the series going in Sri Lanka. Also included in the team are Jos Buttler and Ben Foakes. If Ollie Pope recovers from his shoulder injury and passes the fitness then he can also play in the team.

Others in the squad for the first 2 tests will be Joe Root, Chris Woakes, James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Rory Burns, Dan Lawrence, Dom Bess, Jack Leach, Dom Sibley, Zak Crawley, Olly Stone, and Moeen Ali.
