England unveil 15‑player squad for 2027 U19 Women’s T20 World Cup

England have announced their 15‑player squad for the 2027 ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup, becoming the first team to confirm their lineup for the tournament in Nepal and Bangladesh. The squad features one returning player from the 2025 campaign, 18‑year‑old Phoebe Brett, while Maria Andrews steps up after previously serving as a non‑travelling reserve. Five additional players have been named as reserves and will remain involved throughout the winter programme.

Head coach Chris Guest believes this will be England’s best‑prepared U19 squad, with a bilateral T20 series in India designed to provide valuable outdoor match practice ahead of the World Cup. England will begin preparations with domestic training camps before travelling to India for a five‑match T20 series in November and December, followed by an extended week of outdoor work leading into early 2027.
