The third T20I was certainly not the deciding one, given West Indies won the series against Australia 3-0. The innings started with West Indies chasing 141/6 and ended with 31 balls and six wickets to spare. Gayle was a powerhouse batting after Starc and Fletcher, who lit the battlefield on fire with seven sixes and four fours, pacing 67 off 38, concluding in his 14th T20I fifty and historical 14,000 T20 runs.
The series slipped off from the Invincibles when Gayle went ferocious with Josh Hazlewood and Adam Zampa and hit the 14,000 runs milestone in the ninth over against sixth off-spinner followed by a hat trick miss with Riley Meredith in the 12th. Though Australia had an optimal start to the series, terribly failed to keep pace with Mitchell Marsh, Fabian Allen, Alex Carey, and Finch all underperformed. Moises Henriques and Ashton Turner could not take the whole pleasure and cost their team a win.
