Hasaranga once again stuns Australia

Wanindu Hasaranga proved once again why he is the best bowler in global T20 cricket and is considered the fifth-best all-rounder as he stuns Australia in the first T20I series with Sri Lanka. The Undertaker snaffled Aaron Finch, Glen Maxwell and Steve Smith in a fine spell.

The 24-year-old stayed committed to his act even when his back knee nearly touched the ground as he bent down to release the ball one time while trying to get Maxwell’s wicket. Hasaranga bowled out Aaron Finch on his first over as well to hurt Australia’s chances of winning the first T20I match of their five-match series, and he dismissed Steve Smith in a similar fashion to round out the day with figures of 4/38. Still, Australia was successful in winning the match by 20 runs with the DLS Method. Hasaranga becomes the second person to get the trio out in the same innings.
