Bangladesh picked up seven wickets to win the third Test at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur yesterday, despite winning just 227 in the first innings in good batting conditions.

The crucial moment was Ashwin's dropped chance to score 71 runs with Mominul Haque at short leg, which allowed India to cross the finish line. Shakib, however, had no regrets over the first innings total, but was unhappy with India's fielding effort in the first innings, which left opportunities on the table. Bangladesh had beaten England and Australia at home, so it was an excellent opportunity to win in India.
