India beat Australia by six wickets in their final Twenty20 International

India defeated Australia by six wickets in their third and final Twenty20 International on Sunday in Hyderabad, winning the series 2-1 with half-centuries from Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli. While chasing their goal of 187 runs, India lost their openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul cheaply in the powerplay, but Yadav and Kohli put up a century partnership, and Hardik Pandya scored the winning runs with one ball remaining.

Before falling to Josh Hazlewood in a 36-ball 69, Yadav had struck five boundaries and as many sixes. Kohli took over by scoring 63 runs off 48 balls. Following Kohli's removal in the last over, Pandya maintained composure in the face of an aggressive Australian assault and sealed the victory with a boundary off Daniel Sams. In a three-match T20 series, India will next play against South Africa.
