India in the World Test Championship defeats England by 3-1

On Saturday, India marked their 13th straight test series win at home when they beat England in the test series by 3-1. India’s winning in sequence started in 2013 when India received victory over Australia by winning all 4 matches in the series. Since 2013, India has defeated 8 different countries. India’s last defeat against England, in 2012-13 was a shocking one by 2-1 but then in the 5-match series in 2016-17, India took England back from that defeat with a 4-0.

India has made a place in the World Test Championship finals by winning over England with an innings and 25 runs. In the championship final, India will face New Zealand on June 18, 2021, at the Lord’s. This win for India was a proud moment for Virat Kohli, his men, and the entire team and nation.
