India lost to England by 100 runs in the 2nd ODI

The next ICC Cricket World Cup will be held in India and teams are working to improve their gameplay for the big event. Well, at this point facing a defeat like India against England in the second ODI of the 3-days series is not too harmful. But India should take this seriously and ensure they work in the best way to shape their squad. Captain Rohit Sharma also spoke about his decision of fielding first due to the residual moisture on the pitch.

Hardik Pandya was available to bowl which was a great advantage for the Indian side. He has accuracy with the line and is well aware of the length variations. On the other hand, the batsmen from England were pretty impressive too. Jonny Bairstow and Liam Livingstone scored 38 and 33 runs respectively. However, they were bowled out for 246 but India couldn't keep up to that pace and lost to England.
