India stuns Australia at Gabba to claim a win and end the series 2-1

Australia was left stunned as India took the lead and finish the test four strong and end the series at 2-1 beating the host at Gabba where Australia has not lost a match since 1988. The four-match test series ended after a lot of drama and visitors to return home with an emphatic win after a grueling tour.

India takes the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after chasing a record target of 328 in Brisbane with three wickets and three overs to spare. Injury ridden India had dismissed Australia on Day four at 294 and needed 324 runs to win the match without star players to support them. After a bad start where India saw Rohit Sharma being dismissed at four by Pat Cummins, Cheteshwar Pujara took the baton and stuck his ground with Shubman Gill where the pair dished out a 114 second-wicket partnership, Rishabh Pant later carried the team to victory leaving Australia reeling behind.
