IPL 2021, CSK vs DC: Delhi bags the win by 3 wickets

The IPL’s top-two battle ended with few jerks and many sparks. The thriller match between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings on Monday was no less top news when the former beat the Kings by three wickets. The playoff qualifiers were toe-to-toe to win the short cut the October 15 final. 

While Ambati Rayudu’s 43-ball knock of 55, Axar Patel (2-18) and Ashwin (1-20) included Chennai active front posing a target of 136 runs, Shimron Hetmyer’s 28 off 18 balls and Shikhar Dhawan’s 39 off 35 balls were highlights of the Capitals’ innings winning 7-139 with two balls to spare. The captain MS Dhoni miss for the boundary in the last over falling to Pant has cost his team a win. The Kings Captain reacted to the loss by praising his team’s bowling front including Shardul Thakur(2-13) and Ravindra Jadeja(2-28).
