IPL: Delhi beats Mumbai Indians

Lalit Yadav and Axar Patel were the real heroes in Delhi Capitals’ stunning win against Mumbai Indians in the second match of the Indian Premier League on Sunday. Delhi was chasing a decent target of 178 runs and Lalit’s knock of 48 and Axar’s 38 runs helped Delhi beat the five-time winners at Brabourne Stadium with 10 balls to spare in the process.

Mumbai was on the right path at the start with Ishan Kishan's unbeaten knock of 81 off 48 balls after picking up the bat first. Lalit, an uncapped all-rounder then slowly and steadily exposed the problems of Mumbai's bowling attack in the final over which was the final nail in the coffin for the side. In the other match, Punjab Kings handed Royal Challengers Bangalore their first defeat of the season.
