Ireland Cricket team captain, Andrew Balbirnie, is focused on a historic series

Ireland Captian, Andrew Balbirnie, revealed the excitement that the men have after winning One Day International cricket against South Africa for the first time. Both the teams have played against each other five times previously. After 2006, it was the first time when Ireland was able to win against a top-eight, world-ranked, team in a One Day International (ODI) at home. Balbirnie reportedly said that he was proud of his team and they are looking forward to winning the series this season.

Ireland had to reshuffle their batting order at the last minute due to the finger injury faced by William Porterfield. However, Captain Balbirnie was delighted after winning and for the team’s performance. He further added that the team is also looking forward to performing with the same determination on the finals of the One Day International on Friday.
