Jasprit Bumrah is likely to join MI in Ahmedabad

Jasprit Bumrah is expected to join the Mumbai Indians camp directly in Ahmedabad on March 21 ahead of their IPL 2024 opener against Gujarat Titans on March 24. He had been on a break after playing in the fifth India-England Test in Dharamsala, concluding on March 9, and is confirmed to be fit and available for the opening match.

Most of the Mumbai Indians squad and support staff have been participating in the pre-season camp in Mumbai since March 12. Rohit Sharma, the former captain, joined the camp on March 18. However, there's uncertainty regarding Suryakumar Yadav's availability. He underwent a fitness assessment at the National Cricket Academy on Tuesday, but didn't meet the required parameters for clearance, likely due to ongoing rehabilitation from a sports hernia surgery in January and an ankle injury sustained in December.
