Kohli claims the position as first Indian captain wins all formats in Australia

Even if India lost the last T20 international match to Australia by 12 runs they had already won the T20 series by 2-1 and Virat Kohli penned his name down in history as the first Indian Caption as well as Asian Captain to win in all formats against Australia at their home ground. During the 2018-19 Test series, Kohli led India to a 2-1 win which was complemented with a 2-1 win in the ODI series as well.

At the last T20 faceoff both the teams had drawn but this time around India led by Virat Kohli clinched the victory early on. Under MS Dhoni India has won the T20 series of 2016 as well as the triangular series in Australia in the 2007-2008 season but failed in the Test department. In fact, none of the top Asian teams — Pakistan, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh has won the long format in Australia.
