Kolkata Knight Riders wish to turn their past misfortunes this year

Kolkata Knight Riders are desperate to turn things around this season after a royally bad last season which saw nothing working in their favor be it their opening combination, middle-order, or a finisher, UAE did not give them a chance to even qualify for a real title contender. They even saw a change in the leadership which also did not have the desired effect.

Two-time IPL champions have been striving for consistency and had to rebuild after Gautam Gambhir's departure and above that, the Caribbean stars Andre Russell and Sunil Narine missed the playoff round. Dinesh Karthik will be making amends in 2021 and have two new signings this year in the form of Venkatesh Iyer and Vaibhav Arora who could help turn the sinking ship around.
