Lille reclaims the top spot at Ligue 1

While Lyon lost an opportunity against Marseille with a draw, Lille reclaims the top spot at Ligue 1.  Captain Jose Fonte salvaged a point for Lille the Ligue 1 leaders with a late header that saw 1-1 draw with Strasbourg.

Lille moved two points ahead of champions Paris Saint-Germain and has a three-point lead over Lyon who was held to a 1-1 draw as well. Lyon went ahead first in the 20th minute with striker Karl Toko Ekambi who was set up by midfielder Lucas Paqueta and pushed it into the corner while Poland striker Arkadiusz Milik pushed an equalizer which was his second goal. Strasbourg stunned with early lead by Ludovic Ajorque’s 35th-minute goal.
