Lucknow Super Giants beat Mumbai Indians by 5 runs

Tuesday's thrilling IPL 2023 match between the Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians took place in Lucknow, with the home team winning by five runs. Mumbai, who were attempting to chase down 178, got off to an explosive start, driven by their skipper Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, but they could only manage 172/5 in 20 overs. Before being bowled by Ravi Bishnoi, the combination had scored 90 runs for the first wicket. Ishan blasted 59 off of 39 while Rohit scored 37 off of 25. 

Mumbai remained in contention with Tim David's undefeated comeback on 32 off 19, but Mohsin Khan saved LSG. The pacer led his team to a decisive victory and helped them move up to third place in the points table by defending 11 runs in the last over. Mumbai, on the other hand, lost a slot and is presently in fourth place.
