Mitchell Marsh injury update

Mitchell Marsh,  won't be able to bowl until the last week before the team leaves for the Caribbean, according to head coach Andrew McDonald of the cricket team. However, he will be ready to play in the tournament's first match. Due to a right hamstring issue, Marsh has not been in the Delhi Capitals lineup since their IPL 2024 match on April 3. After his recuperation in India, he took a plane back to Perth.

Before the team leaves for the Caribbean on May 25 for the major event, Marsh will spend the first of two three-day pre-tournament training camps in Brisbane over the next two weeks with members of the Australian squad who are not participating in the IPL. Though Marsh could bat in the nets since his hamstring had adequately recovered over the past two days.
