MLC playoffs head to Oakland for the first time

Major League Cricket’s 2026 postseason will break new ground, with the playoffs set for July 15–18 at the Oakland Coliseum, the first time the league stages on the West Coast. The fourth MLC season runs from June 18 to July 18, opening in Grand Prairie, Texas, before shifting to multiple California venues. Oakland, which proved a batter‑friendly ground during its debut last year, will also host eight regular‑season games from June 24 to 28 featuring all six franchises.

A key development for 2026 is the LA Knight Riders securing a permanent home at the Knight Riders Cricket Field in Pomona, where matches will be played from July 1 to 5.

MLC CEO Johnny Grave praised the league’s growing national following, noting the electric sellout crowds in Grand Prairie and expressing confidence that Oakland’s passionate cricket community will deliver a similarly vibrant atmosphere for both regular‑season action and the championship finale.
