New Zealand defeats Australia

New Zealand played five series this season and won all of them. Australia tried to push the team but their performance was decisive. This year already gives the pressure of the World Cup and so it is of less importance in this year. The unusual situation of the match being 3/5 matches on the same ground presented conditions of lesser value as the team needed to be creative after their defeat. Captain Kane Williamson was also worried.

This season New Zealand is left with two more series, that is, ODI and T20I against Bangladesh which will go to early April. Also, IPL matches are starting on April 9, 2021, due to the proximity of which there might be some changes in the team’s players. Already, the fast bowlers, Lockie Ferguson, and Adam Milne have their IPL contracts signed.
