New Zealand would be without key players against England

New Zealand would be taking on England in June with the first test being scheduled for 2nd June and the second one is scheduled for 10th June before the World Test Championship final scheduled on June 18th. But Kiwis would be without key players when they face England as many of their senior players are participating in IPL 2021. Players like Kane Williamson, Trent Boult and Kyle Jamieson would be absent in the first test as IPL would go on till 30th May, and quarantine rules places their presence in doubt.

While England would also be facing a similar problem with many of their top players like Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, Chris Woakes, Sam Curran and Moeen Ali taking part in the Indian Premier League. New Zealand recently won 3-2 against Australia in the T20 series but lost Kane Williamson to an elbow injury.
