England’s Ollie Pope dislocated his left shoulder during third test match against Pakistan on Monday, Batsman had dislocated the same shoulder last year while playing for Surrey, was trying to save a boundary on the fourth day when the unfortunate incident occurred.
According to the MRI scan, the surrey player would not be able to play for 4 months and would have to undergo surgery and rehabilitation in a couple of weeks in England, supervised by Surrey and England medical team.
The batsman has been England’s top scorer in the first innings of the first test match against Pakistan, he had scored a total of 62 runs.
England won the test series against Pakistan 1-0.
