Pakistan losses Shafique early in their chase for 378

Abdullah Shafique’s early fall in current Pakistan vs Sri Lanka test gives the Lions an early benefit in the second cricket Test. Pakistan was 1-15 at lunch on day two as they continue their chase after an early shocking surprise. Shafique was the player of the match in the series opener, scoring 160 during a challenging innings to direct Pakistan to record a fruitful run chase at Galle.

Pakistan seemed more in trouble when Babar Azam had an anxious second on the field in the second over of Pakistan's innings when Sri Lanka saw their review of lbw being dismissed. On Monday Sri Lanka posted a total of 378 runs at the end of their most memorable innings. Ramesh Mendis was the last man excused from the field after he scored 35 runs while Naseem Shah and Yasir Shah wrapped up with three wickets each. The two teams would continue on day three.
