Pakistan would have to fight hard to halt England’s sweep

After taking down Pakistan with ease in the two ODI matches, England is eyeing a series sweep with the third ODI. Both the teams would play on Tuesday at Edgbaston though the motivation for both the side is different. Pakistan would play for their pride while England would play to complete the 3-0 clean sweep. In the first two ODI matches the Men in Green were outmatched on the field against the New England squad, with a nine-wicket and 52 run win respectively in both the matches.

Even after securing the series England captain, Ben Stokes would want to continue the winning streak. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam on the other hand wants to arrest their free fall and secure valuable points for the ICC World Cup Super League.
