Sarfaraz Ahmed faces criticism for refusing to play against England T20I

The recently concluded Twenty20 International between Pakistan and England almost did not include Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfaraz Ahmed in the third game. His refusal to not join in the Game has opened him up for a lot of criticism.

The Karachi-born player had refused to play since he had been benched for the entire tour, But the head coach, Misbahul Haq, as well as Babar Azam and Younis Khan, persuaded the batsman to play.

Later on, during the match the Sarfaraz messed up a simple stumping of Moeen Ali when he had just entered the field and later on he became a crucial part of the England team as they won the series.
