South Africa defeated West Indies by 25 runs

The West Indies fall from a position of strength as South Africa wins the series 3-2. South Africa won their first T20I series since March 2019, and their first in six, by successfully defending the highest total in the five-match series against the West Indies in Grenada. The victory gives coach Mark Boucher and captain Temba Bavuma their first T20I trophy, and it ensures South Africa will leave the Caribbean with both the Test and T20I series titles.

Aiden Markram and Wiaan Mulder made significant contributions to the win. Wiaan Mulder let up less than eight runs each over, ensuring the West Indies were unable to meet the required scoring rate. Aiden Markram, who led the way with 70 points, and Quinton de Kock combined for 128 for the second wicket.
