Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Mumbai Indians by 31 runs

MI captain Hardik Pandya opted to bowl first against SRH, setting the stage for a thrilling encounter. SRH's batting lineup unleashed a flurry of runs, with Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma forging a brisk 68-run partnership for the second wicket in just 23 balls. Aiden Markram and Abhishek Sharma continued the onslaught, adding 48 runs in 19 balls for the third wicket, before Klaasen and Markram plundered an unbeaten 116 off 55 balls in the slog overs. The packed Uppal Stadium witnessed record-breaking performances, with Head and Sharma surpassing each other to achieve the fastest fifty for SRH in just 18 and 16 balls, respectively.

Despite a valiant effort by MI's openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, who propelled their team to 50 in three overs, SRH's bowlers struck timely blows, restricting MI's momentum. Despite a spirited fightback led by Naman Dhir and Tilak Varma, MI fell short in the chase as SRH emerged victorious.
